Sonodyne SAMĀ 5000 3.1Ch 400W Dolby Atmos soundbar launched in India

Sonodyne has expanded its audio lineup in India with the introduction of the SAMĀ 5000 Dolby Atmos Soundbar. The name SAMĀ (pronounced “Suh-mah”) comes from Sanskrit, meaning “balance” and “harmony,” which reflects the soundbar’s design concept, according to the company.

Setup is simple using the included HDMI cable, and it can be placed on a table or wall-mounted. An IR remote is included for control. The SAMĀ 5000 supports Dolby Atmos to create a wide soundstage suited for movies and music. A dedicated center channel ensures clear dialogue, while height effects make voices seem aligned with the screen.

With 400W output from a 3.1 Class D amplifier and DSP tuning, it maintains consistent, distortion-free audio over extended use. Paired with a compact 6.5-inch wireless subwoofer, it delivers deep, controlled bass with minimal space usage.

Connectivity options include HDMI with eARC and CEC, Optical, AUX, and Bluetooth 5.4, with HDCP 2.3 support for modern video sources. The soundbar offers three listening modes—Movie, Music (Dolby and stereo), and Speech for clearer dialogue.
