Google has introduced Doppl, a new experimental app from Google Labs that lets users visualize how clothes might look on them using AI-powered virtual try-ons and animated previews.
Key Features
- Virtual Try-On: Upload any outfit photo and see how it looks on a digital version of yourself.
- Animated Previews: Doppl turns static images into AI-generated videos, showing how clothes might move in real life.
- Style Exploration: Try on styles from social media, thrift shops, or any photo for instant inspiration.
- Save & Share: Save your favorite looks or share them with friends and followers.
Built on Google Shopping Tech
In May, Google Shopping added virtual try-on support for billions of clothing items using just a photo. Doppl builds on this technology with new experimental tools and a mobile-first design.
Experimental App
Since Doppl is still in early development, fit and appearance might not always be precise. Google encourages user feedback to help improve the experience, noted Sakshi Rambhia, Product Manager at Google Labs.
Availability
Doppl is now available for download on iOS and Android devices in the U.S., via the Google Labs platform.
