HUAWEI has introduced its new Pura 80 Series in China, featuring four models: Pura 80, Pura 80 Pro, Pura 80 Pro+, and Pura 80 Ultra.
HUAWEI Pura 80
The Pura 80 sports a 6.6-inch FHD+ LTPO flat OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2760 × 1256 resolution, 460 ppi, and supports 1.07 billion colors with a P3 wide color gamut.
It features a peak brightness of 3000 nits, high-frequency 1440 Hz PWM dimming, a 300 Hz touch sampling rate, HDR vivid display support, and is shielded by second-generation Kunlun Glass. The phone is slim at 8.2mm thickness, weighs 211g, and has IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance.
It runs on 12GB RAM with storage options from 256GB up to 1TB. The phone is powered by a strong 5600mAh battery that supports 66W wired SuperCharge, 50W wireless fast charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging. Audio includes stereo speakers with Huawei Histen sound effects.
The rear camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor with variable aperture (f/1.4–f/4.0) and OIS, a 12MP periscope telephoto (f/3.4) with 5.5x optical zoom, a 13MP ultra-wide (f/2.2), and a 1.5MP multispectral sensor. Video recording supports up to 4K and 1080p super slow-motion. The front houses a 13MP ultra-wide autofocus camera capable of 4K video and 1080p slow motion.

HUAWEI Pura 80 Pro
Featuring a 6.8-inch FHD+ curved OLED display (2848 × 1276 pixels) with the same advanced display tech as the Pura 80, the Pro is slightly thicker at 8.3mm and weighs 219g. It retains IP68/IP69 certification.
The battery capacity rises to 5700mAh, offering faster charging speeds of 100W wired, 80W wireless, and 18W reverse wired charging. It comes with 12GB RAM and up to 1TB storage.
The Pro’s standout feature is its upgraded camera system with a 50MP one-inch main sensor (f/1.6–f/4.0, OIS), a 48MP telephoto macro lens (f/2.1, OIS), a 40MP ultra-wide lens, and a 1.5MP multispectral sensor. Optical zoom reaches 4x with 100x digital zoom. Video features 4K capture and 1080p super slow motion at 960fps.
The front camera remains 13MP ultra-wide with autofocus. The Pro also includes Huawei’s new Ark Engine, boosting overall performance by 36% over the previous generation. Audio comes from dual stereo speakers with Huawei Histen effects.

HUAWEI Pura 80 Pro+
The Pro+ model shares the Pro’s 6.8-inch display but upgrades protection with second-generation basalt tempered Kunlun Glass. It increases RAM to 16GB with 512GB or 1TB storage options. Battery and charging specs match the Pro.
A key feature is dual satellite communication support — combining Tiantong and Beidou systems — enabling continuous satellite connectivity, two-way messaging including photos, and intelligent satellite selection for critical moments.
Camera specs mirror the Pro model with the same 50MP main, 48MP telephoto macro, 40MP ultra-wide, and multispectral sensors.

The Ultra model retains the 6.8-inch display but is heavier at 233.5g. It matches the Pro+ in memory and battery. It boasts a new design inspired by a sun pattern and gold accents highlighting its premium imaging focus.
The camera setup is more advanced, featuring a 50MP one-inch ultra-high dynamic main sensor, a 50MP ultra-large telephoto lens, a 12.5MP large-bottom ultra-telephoto lens, a 40MP ultra-wide camera, and a 1.5MP multispectral sensor.
It supports dual optical zoom levels at 3.7x and 9.4x, with 100x digital zoom and advanced sensor-shift stabilization. Video recording supports 4K and 1080p super slow motion. Front camera remains 13MP ultra-wide with autofocus.

Software and Connectivity
All Pura 80 Series phones run HarmonyOS 5.1 and include the Xiaoyi AI Assistant with interactive themes, privacy protections like AI anti-peeping alerts, AI teleportation for quick file transfers, and AI noise reduction for calls. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, dual-band Wi-Fi 7, Star Flash, and two-way Beidou satellite messaging. The Pro and Ultra models feature dual stereo speakers and Huawei Histen sound.
