Redmi 13 5G and POCO M7 Pro 5G specs, model numbers surface

Xiaomi is reportedly working on a new budget-friendly smartphone called Redmi 13 5G. Recent leaks from Android Headlines have revealed some of its specifications.

Redmi 13 5G Specs Leak

The Redmi 13 5G is said to run on the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 (SM4450), the same processor as the Redmi 12 5G. Internally, it’s known as “breeze” with the model number “N19”, while the Redmi 12 5G had “M19”.

The leaked model numbers, including 2406ERN9CI, 2406ERN9CC, and 24066PC95I, hint at the markets where the phone will be sold.

The model numbers provide insight into the targeted markets. For example, “RN” denotes the Redmi brand, while “PC” indicates the POCO brand. For instance, “2406ERN9CI” is for the Indian version, and “2406ERN9CC” is for the Chinese version.

Rebranded as POCO M7 Pro 5G

One model number, “24066PC95I,” suggests that the Redmi 13 5G will be sold under the POCO brand in India, possibly named POCO M7 Pro 5G, following the pattern of previous models.

The report indicated the device reached its final internal build, OS1.0.1.0.UNWCNXM, suggesting it might come pre-installed with HyperOS based on Android 14.

The Redmi 13 5G is anticipated to resemble its predecessor, the Redmi 12 5G, with minor alterations, prioritizing affordability. However, the report cautioned that POCO branding is not confirmed officially, and the device may have a different name.

The device is likely to debut in China first before arriving in the Indian market later this year. However, it might not be available globally.
