FoneArena – Best Products of MWC 2024


At MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2024 in Barcelona, we saw hundreds of cool products on display at the show. We gave out 10 FoneArena Awards to the best products and innovations. Here are our Best Products of MWC 2024 after spending nearly 4 days going around the show and shortlisting several products. 

HONOR Magic V2 RSR PORSCHE DESIGN

This HONOR foldable is one of the best foldable mobile devices we have come across in a while, and the hardware is a work of art. Despite the steep pricing close to 3000 USD, the HONOR Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design is one of the best products on the show floor this year.

Motorola Adaptive Display Concept

Motorola showed off the Moto Razr last year which won our award and this year they are back with something even more interesting.

The Motorola Adaptive Display Concept device has a bendable FHD+ pOLED display that can be shaped according to your needs. This innovation builds on their experience with foldable and rollable devices in both smartphones and PCs.

When flat, it functions as a standard 6.9″ Android phone. Upright, it transforms into a self-standing device with a more compact 4.6″ display.

Xiaomi 14

Xiaomi 14 was introduced at the MWC 2024, making it one of the powerful smartphones this year with Leica optics. The phone was also launched in India after the MWC.

OnePlus Watch 2

OnePlus Watch 2 was introduced at the MWC as the first smartwatch with dual OS and dual chip architecture. It promises up to 100 hours of battery life in Smart mode, and in power saver mode it promises up to 12 days of battery life.

Snapdragon X80 5G Modem

Introduced at the MWC, the Qualcomm Snapdragon X80 4nm 5G modem is the successor of the X75 modem.

This has a dedicated 5G AI Processor, support for NB-NTN satellite communications, 6-antenna architecture for smartphones, and AI-based mmWave range extension.

OPPO Air Glass 3

OPPO introduced Air Glass 3 that can access OPPO’s AndesGPT model via a smartphone. It is the world’s lightest binocular AR glasses at just 50 grams, says the company.

Users just need to lightly press the temple of the OPPO Air Glass 3 to activate the AI voice assistant and begin performing a range of tasks.

The OPPO Air Glass 3 features a self-developed resin waveguide with a refractive index of 1.70, a display brightness uniformity of more than 50%, and a peak eye brightness of more than 1,000 nits

Xiaomi SUV7 Max

The Xiaomi SU7 Max is the company’s first electric car that promises up to 800km range. It also supports superfast charging, which can achieve 220km in 5 minutes and 510km in 15 minutes. This can do 0 to 100kmph in 2.78 seconds.

TECNO Phantom Ultimate

The TECNO Phantom Ultimate is a rollable concept designed to unroll quickly and efficiently, achieved this through advanced engineering, which includes a special motor system.

This allows the phone’s display to expand from 6.55 inches to an impressive 7.11 inches in just 1.2-1.3 seconds. When the phone is folded, it has a double-sided display that wraps around the back. When extended, this double-sided screen becomes one large display, creating new ways for users to interact with the device.

Infinix AirCharge

The Infinix AirCharge introduced at the MWC 2024 is a magnetic resonance-based safe wireless charging technology that ensures a seamless charging experience.

nubia 60 Ultra

The Nubia 60 Ultra is the company’s latest flagship smartphone with a 6.8-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM, up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, IP68 ratings, and a 6000mAh battery with support for 80W wired fast charging.
