Nokia Announces 2730 classic 2720 Fold and 7020 lowcost phones

Espoo, Finland – Nokia today  added 3 more low cost phones to its portfolio mainly targeted at the emerging markets Nokia 2730 classic, Nokia 2720 fold and Nokia 7020

All the 3 handsets come with Ovi Tools like Nokia Life Tools and Ovi Mail

Nokia 2730 classic

This phone , similar to the 2700 classic looks like the low-cost version of the 6700 and 6702 classic.
Its the cheapest 3G phone from Nokia. With 3G data networks coming slowly to  the developing countries, the Nokia 2730 classic is a great low-cost option.The Nokia 2730 classic is expected to start shipping in the third quarter of 2009 for about 80 euros or Rs.5300

Nokia 2720 fold

The Nokia 2720 fold is a compact fold phone with an exciting mirror-effect design – reminds of the old 2650 classic phone or the more recent 6600 fold.Its comes with email, calendar, Internet connectivity and file sharing applications. Email can be activated by completing a simple three step set-up process, and in select markets will be offered with Nokia Life Tools. The Nokia 2720 fold is expected to begin shipping in the third quarter of 2009 for an estimated retail price of EUR 55 before subsidies and taxer or Rs.3600 apprx in India

Nokia 7020

This phone seems similar to the 6555 phone and has traces of the shiny supernova phones. Its a fashion flip phone with metal ,color and light finishes to convey personal style.You can take pictures taken with the 2 mega pixel camera and use the bright display. Its got a special stardust effect when u get a call or message.To make the cover light up, tap twice .The Nokia 7020 is expected to begin shipping in the fourth quarter of 2009 for an estimated retail price of EUR 90 before subsidies and taxes. or Rs. 6000 approx.
