After revealing the design of the iQOO 12 series a few days back, iQOO has confirmed that the iQOO 12 Pro will feature a 2K 144Hz Samsung E7 AMOLED screen, compared to E6 screen in the iQOO 11 series.
The 12 Pro model will feature a curved screen design, and the back of the phone and the frame will be curved. The iQOO 12 will feature a flat screen design with a flat from, and both the models will feature oval camera modules.
It also said that the iQOO 12 series will come with IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance. It already confirmed Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC for the phone, making it the second phone to use the flagship SoC after the Xiaomi 14 series.
iQOO also confirmed a dedicated Q1 self-developed gaming chip for the series. Now it has also confirmed up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, which should be used in iQOO 12 Pro.
In the iQOO 12 series, the area of the vapor chamber is increased by over 40% compared to the iQOO 11 series, says the company. It has four-zone heat dissipation architecture along with 6K ultra-large vapor chamber area, adds the company.
The series will feature the largest ultra-wide vibration motor in iQOO’s history. There are also symmetrical three-dimensional dual speakers that promise an immersive gaming experience.
The iQOO 12 series will come in White Legend Edition and Black Track Edition with an AG glass back and a Red colour with a leather-like finish. The series will be introduced on November 7th.
