HONOR has launched its next foldable phone, the HONOR Magic Vs2, in China today as promised, following the launch of the Magic Vs back in November last year.
The HONOR Magic Vs2 boasts a 7.92-inch FHD+ 120Hz LTPO OLED internal display and a 6.43-inch FHD+ 120Hz LTPO OLED external screen, both with a 20:9 aspect ratio.
These screens offer high-quality visuals with features like 10-bit color depth, 100% DCI-P3 color range, HDR10+, and 1.07 billion colors. They also support Dolby Vision and IMAX Enhanced, and have TÜV Rheinland flicker-free certification.
In terms of design, it features HONOR’s unique Luban titanium hinge, a robust folding mechanism, and uses HONOR’s self-developed shield steel material. The device is lightweight, measuring 10.7mm when folded, 5.1mm when unfolded, and weighs 229g.
The HONOR Magic Vs2 is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Mobile Platform and offers 12/256GB or 16/256GB storage options. The camera setup includes a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 20MP telephoto lens (OIS) with optical zoom, and a 16MP front camera on both screens.
For sound, the phone has stereo speakers and supports DTS:X Ultra sound effects. It’s equipped with a 5000mAh battery and supports 66W fast charging. The device runs on the MagicOS 7.2 system based on Android 13 and offers features like voice-to-text input and multi-screen collaboration.
