OnePlus Pad Go to launch in India on October 6

After rumours, OnePlus has officially started teasing the launch of the OnePlus Pad Go, the company’s next tablet in India, and also confirmed that the tablet will launch on October 6th.

OnePlus said that the Pad Go aims to bring the OnePlus ecosystem to the larger user base without having to compromise with the overall user experience or design.

The company added that it will come with the same ergonomic design as the OnePlus Pad with the curved-edge design, the distinctive green tone, and the centred-camera layout, chosen for its ability to precisely capture the user’s perspective. OnePlus said that it has continuously retained key design elements to establish a unified visual identity throughout the Pad series.

The rear design of the OnePlus Pad Go artfully blends two distinct shades of green, complemented by a collage of textures, featuring both a bright matte metal and glossy finish, said the company.

This will come in Twin Mint hue apart and introducing a refreshing aesthetic to the tablet market. The company did not reveal any other details, but in an interview with Digital Trends, OnePlus COO and President, Kinder Liu has confirmed that the tablet will feature a 2.4K display, and says that the mid-tier entertainment tablet will come with TÜV Rheinland certification for eye care and Dolby Atmos. To remind you, the OnePlus Pad has a 2.8K 144Hz screen.

It will come with Android 13-based Oxygen OS 13, and will get OxygenOS 14 in the future. It will also come with Content Sync that can sync OTP verification messages, cellular data sharing and rich text messages with OnePlus phone that was first introduced with the OnePlus Pad.

The tablet should also offer copy and paste, notification sharing and file sharing between devices. The tablet with the model number OPD2304 and OPD2305 surfaced in BIS certification, hinting at the Wi-Fi and cellular versions. To remind you, the OnePlus Pad was released only in the Wi-Fi model.

Similar to other devices, the OnePlus Pad Go will be sold on Amazon.in and Flipkart, in addition to OnePlus India website, and should also be available from OnePlus stores offline. OnePlus will reveal more details about the tablet in the coming days, before it goes official next month.
