Google next smartwatch, Google Pixel Watch 2 internally coded as ‘eos’ has surfaced on Google Play Console providing a glimpse of the smartwatch’s design and some specifications.
The render reveals that the Pixel Watch 2 will sport a circular dial, reminiscent of the first-generation Pixel Watch. Additionally, a physical button is positioned on the right side of the watch, similar to its predecessor.

The Pixel Watch 2 is set to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 (SW5100) chipset, paired with 2GB of RAM. Previous reports hinted at the potential inclusion of a Custom Coprocessor and Ultra-wideband (UWB) Support. The smartwatch has received FCC certification for both LTE and Wi-Fi variants.

The Pixel Watch 2’s display is confirmed to have a resolution of 383×384 pixels, as indicated by the Google Play Console listing.

The smartwatch will run Android 13 out of the box, layered with Wear OS 4.0. Notably, the watch is expected to offer four new watch faces: Accessible, Arc, Analog Bold, and Bold Digital.
Anticipated to feature a 306mAh battery, the Pixel Watch 2 holds promise for lasting usability. With previous BIS certification, the smartwatch is likely to launch in India.
Considering that the Pixel 7 series was introduced in October of the previous year, it’s reasonable to expect that the Pixel 8 series and the Watch 2 might be unveiled around the same time this year.
