OPPO A78 with 6.43″ 90Hz FHD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 680, 8GB RAM announced


OPPO has introduced A78 4G model in Indonesia, after the launch of A78 5G in India earlier this year. It packs a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with 90Hz refresh rate, is powered by Snapdragon 680 SoC with 8GB of RAM and 8GB of virtual RAM.

It runs Android 13 with ColorOS 13.1 on top. The phone has a 50MP rear camera along with a 2MP portrait sensor and a 8MP front camera inside the notch.

The back has rippling and sparkling diamond texture. The Sea Green is inspired by sparkling lakes and tropical seas, and the Fog Black goes beyond pure black, adding 3-dimensional depth from the dark clouds in the sky and lakes glistening at night.

It has a In-display fingerprint scanner and packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 67W SuperVOOC fast charging via USB Type-C.

The OPPO A78 is priced at 3,599,000 Indonesian Rupiah (USD 237 / Rs. 19,570 approx.) and is already on sale in Indonesia. It is expected to roll out in other markets including India soon.
