Garmin Forerunner 265 and Forerunner 965 GPS running watches with AMOLED displays announced


Garmin has just announced the Forerunner 265 series and Forerunner 965, its first dedicated GPS running smartwatches with vibrant AMOLED displays. To top it off, the recently launched MARQ second generation collection is now available in India.

These lightweight and bright watches are made for any distance, with optional always-on, full-color displays that are easy to read in any weather and a responsive touchscreen, plus 5-button design for fast access to everyday health features, smart notifications and more.

Two adaptive training plan options are available to those training for their next race: enter race information into Garmin Connect calendar to receive daily workouts, or use free Garmin Coach plans from expert coaches. When training outdoors, athletes can plan their race day strategy using PacePro and SatIQ technology for superior positioning accuracy.

Garmin Forerunner 965

The Forerunner 965 is the perfect watch for athletes striving for excellence. It builds upon the Forerunner 265 with additional performance metrics, built-in mapping and the ability to store more songs. With features like the load ratio, real-time stamina insights and ClimbPro, athletes can keep track of their training, prevent burnout, and explore new terrain with full-color, built-in maps.

Plus, its lightweight titanium bezel, 47mm case size and Garmin’s largest AMOLED display make it a great choice for Athletes. The Forerunner 965 offers up to 31 hours of battery life in GPS mode and up to 23 days in smartwatch mode.

Pricing and availability

The Garmin Forerunner 965 will be arriving in late March, with a suggested retail price of $599.99 (Rs. 49,163 approx.). Alternatively, the Forerunner 265 is already available for purchase at $449.99 (Rs. 36,872 approx.).
