Reliance Jio is rapidly expanding its 5G network across many Indian cities. The company has launched its 5G services in Himachal Pradesh today, with locations in Shimla, Hamirpur, Nadaun, and Bilaspur. Shri Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, the state’s honorable chief minister, today launched Jio True 5G services in Himachal Pradesh from Shimla.
The Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister congratulated the Jio team on the implementation, claiming that it will provide a plethora of opportunities and enriching experiences for all individuals, including students, businessmen, and professionals.
Furthermore, Jio believes that its service will contribute to the advancements seen in these areas, as demonstrated by the Jio Community Clinic medical kit and the revolutionary AR/VR device, Jio Glass.
Jio True 5G in 17 more Cities
Reliance Jio also announced the launch of True 5G services in 17 cities, bringing the total number of cities with Jio True 5G to 257. Starting today, February 14, Jio users in these cities will be invited to the Jio Welcome Offer, which includes unlimited data at speeds of up to 1 Gbps+ at no extra cost.

At the 5G launch event, the Honourable Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Sukhvinder Singh, said,

This launch is an important milestone for the people of the state, who will benefit immensely from Jio’s 5G services. 5G services will usher in a plethora of opportunities and enriched experiences for every individual, including students, businessmen & professionals.
This will also bring fundamental changes in sectors like tourism, e-governance, healthcare, horticulture, agriculture, automation, education, artificial intelligence, disaster management, IT & manufacturing, etc.
