Google Tasks update brings Calendar and Assistant support

Google Tasks now has Calendar and Assistant features, allowing our products to operate better together no matter where or how you work. This meets people where their thoughts and productive moments occur, whether on a laptop, phone, or on the road. Recently, Google Search added sustainable travel options.

Millions of users use Google Assistant, Calendar, and Tasks, according to the corporation. Soon, Assistant and Calendar Reminders will be migrated to Google Tasks. You can now view and manage all your to-dos in Google Tasks, whether you make them in Assistant or Calendar.

Get it all done with Google Tasks

Google Tasks is a simple and useful tool for personal and professional use. Your lists and tasks sync between devices, so you always have them. Access Tasks from Gmail, Calendar, and Chat.

Google Tasks can help you do more with the following
  • Use the “Add to Tasks” button in Gmail so important action items don’t get lost in your inbox.
  • Create tasks directly from Google Chat to turn a thought into a clear action.
  • Create a task in Google Calendar, so you can pick the perfect time to get it done.
  • Sort the tasks you create into lists and star the ones that are most important to you.
Assistant Reminders

Adding Assistant Reminders to Google Tasks opens up new ways to capture to-dos without using your hands. “Hey Google, remind me to contact Dad every Thursday at 6 p.m.” will appear in your Tasks list and Google Calendar. If you set a day or time, you’ll get a reminder, so you don’t forget.

In the coming months, whether you use Assistant or Calendar to create or view reminders, you’ll be prompted to test the new Tasks experience. Open the message to move your reminders to Google Tasks so that you can keep track of everything in one place.

Speaking on the introduction, Ilya Brown VP, Product Management, said,
