Together with the carbon-neutral Polygon network, Nothing today unveiled its first NFT project, the Nothing Community Dots. The community of Nothing is invited to participate in the membership programme to amass NFT tokens, which unlock special benefits like first access to brand-new products and offline events. The announcement precedes the widely anticipated smartphone, Nothing Phone’s (1) arrival.
Nothing’s Web3 initiatives will advance thanks to the Polygon alliance. Long-term, the company also wants to make it easy and safe to connect to Web3 so that its smartphones and other ecosystem products are ready for the future. One of the very first consumer technology companies, Nothing, combined Web3 technology with the modern environment. According to the firm, more details about the NFT initiative and larger Web3 commitments will be disclosed at a later time.

Polygon recently achieved carbon neutrality and is committed to becoming carbon negative by the end of 2022. As a result, by default, any services built on Polygon become carbon-neutral. With more than 19,000 decentralized services, from decentralized gaming to finance, Polygon is quickly taking over as the de-facto Web3 platform. As they start to look into Web3 features, the network is already working with big international brands and businesses like Meta, Stripe, and Adobe.
