Samsung India started taking pre-orders for its latest Smart Monitor M8 a week ago, and the company has now announced pricing and availability. It will be available in India on June 15, 2022, with a starting price of INR 59,999. The Samsung Smart Monitor M8 32″ is only 11.4mm thick, making it approximately 75% thinner than the M7 model. It has a sophisticated flat-back design and new colours like Sunset Pink and Spring Green, in addition to Warm White and Daylight Blue. The M8 also comes with a height-adjustable stand (HAS), which allows users to find the ideal position for any project, movie night, or study session.
The Smart Monitor M8 features a 32-inch 4K Ultra HD display with HDR 10+ support, 99 percent sRGB colour coverage, 400 nits of brightness, and 1.07 billion colors. According to the company, this is the “world’s first Smart Monitor” that runs Samsung’s Tizen operating system. This implies that it can function as a stand-alone computer for light tasks and entertainment like streaming services contents on Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ and Apple TV.
The monitor comes with a movable magnetic SlimFit Cam for crystal-clear video calls, and the built-in Video Call application supports the most popular calling apps, including Google Duo. Since it has a USB Type-C port, it supports 65W charging.
