ColorOS 12 beta and stable updates roll out for more OPPO phones in India


OPPO launched the ColorOS 12, the next major update based on Android 12 for its smartphones globally, back in October. Now, for Indian users, the company has revealed a timeline for more phones that are going to receive beta and official build in the upcoming days.

The ColorOS 12 Beta Version will be accessible on the F19 and F19s beginning on April 8th; the F17 will receive it on April 14th; the A53 will receive it on April 19th; and the Reno3 Pro will receive it on April 26th. Reno7 5G, Reno 10x Zoom, and A76 handsets will receive the update in May.

The ColorOS 12 Official Version upgrade is already underway in products such as the Reno6 Pro 5G, Reno4 Pro, F19 Pro+, A74, and others; the A53s 5G model will receive the update on April 25th, and the Reno7 Pro 5G will receive it in May.

To manually update eligible devices, users can click on Settings and select the software update option.

OPPO said that the update cycle, which includes models from the Find, Reno, F and A series, will allow more OPPO users to experience ColorOS’ highly customizable UI and features that comprise UI Customizations, Three-Finger Translation, FlexDrop, Private System and other enhanced security features.
