iQOO Neo 5 5G with FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 870 to be announced on March 16


Update: iQOO recently confirmed the iQOO Neo 5 5G announcement on March 16th. The teaser confirms a centre punch-hole screen for the phone.

Earlier: Vivo’s iQOO is gearing up to introduce the iQOO Neo 5 5G, successor of last year’s Neo 3 5G next month. According to a Chinese blogger, the phone will come with a 120Hz refresh rate FHD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) Samsung E3 Super AMOLED punch-hole display with an in-display fingerprint scanner, and will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 870 SoC.

It is said to pack triple rear cameras that includes a 48MP Sony IMX598 main camera, 13MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP depth/macro sensor,  16MP front camera with Sony IMX471 sensor and come with stereo speakers. The phone is said to pack 4400 mAh battery or more and support 66W/88W Super Flash Charge 3.0 fast charging.

The iQOO Neo 5 5G is rumoured to be priced at 2998 yuan (US$ 464 / Rs. 33,705 approx.) for the 8GB + 128GB version, 3298 yuan (US$ 510 / Rs. 37,075 approx.) for the 8GB + 256GB version and the 12GB + 256GB version is said to cost 3598 yuan (US$ 557 / Rs. 40,445 approx.).
