Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra with 6.8-inch Quad HD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, tiny rear screen, Snapdragon 888, 120x zoom camera surfaces

We already know that Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Mi 11 Pro after the Mi 11, now the hands-on video of the Mi 11 Ultra, successor of the Mi 10 Ultra has surfaced. The video from a Filipino YouTube channel called Tech Buff shows the design, features and most specifications of the top-end phone in the Mi 11 series. It shows triple rear cameras with a huge camera bump.

The phone is said to pack a 50MP rear camera instead of a 108MP camera in the Mi 11, the secondary camera is said to be a 48MP sensor and the phone is also said to come with a 48MP periscope telephoto camera with support for up to 120x zoom. Even the Mi 10 Ultra has a 48MP periscope telephoto camera with support for 120x digital zoom, but it only supports 10x optical zoom. Text on the phone says 120X Ultra Pixel AI Camera, while the text on the other phone says ‘120X, 12-120mm, 1:1.95-4.1’, so these phones could be prototype devices.

It is said to retain the 6.8-inch Quad HD+ 120Hz AMOLED screen with a 20MP punch-hole camera on the left from the Mi 11, powered by Snapdragon 888 and run Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 on top. It is expected to come with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, similar to the predecessor.

There is also a tiny second screen on the back of the phone which is useful when capturing selfies or recording videos using the rear camera.

The phone has a metal frame and Sound by Harman / Kardon branding on the top.

The phone is said to come with IP68 ratings for water resistance which the Mi 11 lacks and pack a slightly bigger 5000mAh battery battery with 67W wired flash charging, while retaining the 50W wireless fast charging and 10W wireless reverse charging.
