LG GX soundbar with support for Dolby Atmos and DTX:S announced


LG has announced their new GX sound bar that is designed to be a perfect companion to their GX Gallery OLED Series TVs. It features support for Dolby Atmos, AI Sound Pro, Hi-Res Audio certification, DTX:S and more.

The LG GX soundbar measures at 15cm x 144.6cm x 3.25cm, with a width and finish that’s identical to the 65.-inch LG GX Gallery Series TV. It can mounted flush to wall under the TV or supported with the the included sturdy steel stand.

It supports Dolby Atmos and DTX:S for superior sound delivery, and also features 4K pass-through for Dolby Vision support. The included subwoofer connects wirelessly to the soundbar and is perfectly designed to deliver the low-frequency bass signals. The presence of eARC support enables playback high-resolution audio formats such as Dolby True HD and DTS Master Audio.

The soundbar is Hi-Res Audio certified, with the capability to playback at 24bit/96kHz. Other features include Bluetooth connectivity and LG AI Sound Pro that analyses audio content to automatically apply the best sound settings.

The LG GX soundbar will be available this month in Europe, North America, Asia.
