Paytm expands Postpaid service to more Kirana stores, retail stores, bill payments

Paytm has partnered with two NBFCs to expand their Postpaid services for many more use cases in India. Users can now avail Paytm Postpaid at neighbourhood Kirana stores, retail stores like Reliance Fresh, Haldiram, Apollo Pharmacy, Paytm Mall, and internet apps such as Domino’s, Tata Sky, Pepperfry, etc.

Along with the expansion of this service, Paytm is also increasing the credit limit to Rs. 1,00,000 per month. The increased credit limit will be available first to select customers, who have completed their online KYC with a partner NBFC. Bill repayment would be required to be completed by the 7th of each month or earlier. Paytm Postpaid will have no costs associated with activating & keeping it.

Along with this, Paytm has also split Postpaid into three tiers; Lite, Delite and Elite, which will be assigned to users based on the partner NBFC’s assessment. Postpaid Lite users will be limited to Rs. 20,000 along with a convenience charge which will be added to the monthly bill, while the Delite and Elite users can avail a credit limit from Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 1,00,000 in monthly spends with no convenience charges.
