Intel announced new 10th Gen Intel Core mobile PC processors (code-named ‘Comet Lake’) in the U-series and Y-series for thin-and-light laptop and 2-in-1s recently. Today, Dell has announced that it is updating XPS 13 and Inspiron range of laptops with the new 10th Gen Intel Comet Lake CPUs.
Dell XPS
Dell XPS 13 is refreshed with up to i7 Hexa-Core Intel 10th Gen Core U series CPU. It sports a 13.3-inch InfinityEdge display with 4K options and comes with the new ‘Killer AX1650 (2×2)’ built on Intel Wi-Fi 6 chipset. The RAM and storage options include up to LPDDR3 Dual-Channel 16GB SDRAM and up to 2TB PCIe SSD storage respectively. The graphics duties are handled by Intel UHD graphics and it features 2x2W stereo speakers and 52Whr battery.
XPS 13 price starts at US$ 899( Rs. 64,670 approx.), will be available from August 27th in the US and the high-end model with Hexa-Core CPU will be available in October.
Dell Inspiron
Dell has also updated Inspiron lineup with the new processors and now the Dell Inspiron 14, 15, 17 3000; Inspiron 13 5000; Inspiron 14, 15 5000; and Inspiron 14, 15 5000 2-in-1 come with the new 10th Gen Intel Comet Lake processors.
- Dell Inspiron 13, 15, 17 7000 2-in-1 is now available with the addition of USB Type-C with Thunderbolt 3 support and in an optional silver chassis.
- Dell Inspiron 24 5000 & 27 7000 All-in-One (AIOs) desktops will be available from tomorrow.
- The 2-in-1 model will ship in 13-inch, 15-inch, and 17-inch display sizes and the 17-inch model comes with DDR4 RAM and being configurable with Nvidia GeForce MX250 graphics.
Inspiron 14 7000 and Inspiron 7000 13-inch 2-in-1 laptops are priced at US$929.99 (Rs. 66,904 approx.) and US$ 849 (Rs. 61,078 approx.) respectively and will be available from October 1st, 2019.
Dell Vostro
Dell Vostro 13 5000, Vostro 14, 15 3000 are also updated with the new 10th Gen Intel Comet Lake processors.
