Sony launched BRAVIA A9F 4K HDR OLED TV series in 55-inch and 65-inch models in India last year. Expanding the lineup, Sony has today launched its MASTER Series A9G 4K televisions in India and it is the successor to the A9F series.
Sony MASTER Series A9G comprises of 55-inch and 65-inch 4K models. It sports a 4K OLED display with a resolution of 3840 x2160 pixels and is HDR10 capable. The TV is powered by Sony’s Picture Processor X1 Ultimate, supports Dolby Vision for high dynamic range content and also comes with Sony’s Pixel Contrast Booster for enhanced color contrast in high luminance. It has narrow bezels, measures 1226 x 714 x 255 mm and weighs 18.7kg.
There is a 60W speaker unit(20W+20W+10W+10W) with two actuators and two subwoofers and features Sony’s Acoustic Surface Audio+. It is a Smart TV and runs on the Android operating system with 16GB internal storage. There is support for Play Store and also comes with a dedicated Netflix calibrated mode which is said to improve the picture clarity for Netflix shows. It also supports Google Assistant, Alexa, Apple AirPlay and more.
The connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2, built-in Chromecast, Ethernet port, RF connection, 2USB ports, 4 HDMI Input, HDCP 2.3, HDMI Audio Return Channel, digital audio output and microphone port.
Pricing and Availability
Sony MASTER Series A9G 55-inch model is priced at Rs. 2,69,900 and the 65-inch model is priced at Rs. 3,69,900. Both models will be available at Sony Centers, authorized dealers, and e-commerce sites across India.
