Google Pixel 4 XL with triple rear cameras and dual front cameras surface


Google Pixel 4 series smartphone is in the news again and this time it is the unannounced Google Pixel 4 XL. Today, there was a report regarding the possibility of a rear telephoto lens and front infrared camera on the Pixel 4. Now, the latest renders reveal information on the possible camera setup on the upcoming Google Pixel 4 XL smartphone.

According to the latest renders, Google Pixel 4 XL smartphone is said to sport a 6.25-inch display with a thick bezel on the top and a slightly smaller chin. There is said to be more space next to the earpiece and it could be for Soli Radar components for touchless gesture interactions or a module for Face ID. The smartphone is expected to measure 160.4 x 75.2 x 8.2mm and the thickness around the square camera bump is expected to be 9.3mm.

The render also reveals dual front cameras with the possibility of support for infrared sensor and it also reveals the triple rear camera arranged in a triangular formation and housed in a square camera bump. The secondary camera is expected to be a telephoto lens and the third camera could be a 3D ToF (time-of-flight) sensor.

There won’t be dual front-firing speakers on the Pixel 4 XL and dual speaker grills on either side of the Type-C port can be expected. The smartphone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC with up to 6GB RAM, Android Q operating system and more.
