Opera Touch becomes the first iOS browser with built-in crypto wallet and Web 3 support


Opera launched the ‘Opera Touch’ browser last year, and earlier this year, the company announced that its built-in Cryptocurrency wallet is coming soon to iOS after the desktop version and Android. Today, Opera has finally launched the ‘Opera Touch’ browser with a built-in crypto wallet and Web 3 for iOS platform.

This browser for iOS lets users seamlessly interact with the next generation of Web 3 applications on the Ethereum blockchain. It comes with an integrated crypto wallet and supports the Ethereum Web3 API, allowing seamless interaction with dApps, without the need for browser extensions. Opera has partnered with Marble. Cards dApps which turns web pages into digital collectible cards and users who secure a potentially interesting URL and turn it into a Marble card, they will be able to play with it, trade it or sell it.

It also supports all ERC-20 tokens, stablecoins and non-fungible tokens (NFT). In order to start making a transaction, users need to purchase some Ethereum cryptocurrency (ETH) and store it in your Opera Crypto Wallet.  Once the cryptocurrency is stored, they can access a selection of Web 3 apps in the dApp (decentralized application) store, accessible from the browser’s speed dial.

To recall, Opera Touch browser navigation has been designed to be used with just one hand, offering a more comfortable experience while browsing. It features two themes, dark and light. It has also recently introduced private mode to the browser to give you more privacy on the Web, cookie dialog blocker. This functionality lets users remove annoying cookie prompts that prevent them from directly accessing content on the Web
