Over 6 lakh Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro units sold out within minutes in first sale in India


Update: Xiaomi said that it sold 3PM sale also went out of stock quickly, but it will have more stocks 6pm and 9pm today.

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 6 Pro smartphone in India yesterday, starting at Rs. 13,999 . As a limited period offer, the company sold the phone starting at Rs. 12,999 on Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home stores starting at 12 noon and also offered Rs. 500 discount for HDFC Bank credit/debit card users. The company has announced that it sold 600,000 or 6 lakh units within minutes. Xiaomi said that it still has stocks to sell for the next special sale at 3PM today on mi.com and Flipkart.

To remind you, the phone has a 6.28-inch Full HD+ screen with a notch, 19:9 aspect ratio, 12-megapixel rear camera which now has f/1.9 aperture and  1.4μm pixel size for better low-light images, secondary 5-megapixel camera, 20-megapixel front camera with 4-in-1 Super Pixel technology, 2-megapixel secondary camera for portrait shots.

Other specifications are almost same as the Redmi Note 5 Pro, including Snapdragon 636 with up to 6GB of RAM, Dual 4G VoLTE, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 4000mAh battery.Check out the Redmi Note 6 Pro review, if you are planning to get the phone.
