ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M2 with 6-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 660, 6GB RAM, triple-rear cameras to be announced on December 11 [Update: New teaser]


Update – November 22, 2018 – Asus has posted a new teaser image that shows a notch display and triple rear cameras.

After specifications of the ZenFone Max Pro M2 smartphone surfaced last week, ASUS has confirmed that it will introduce the phone at an event in Indonesia. An image of the phone has surfaced in Google Play console confirming the notch. Even a live image of the phone has surfaced.

  • 6-inch (2280 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 19:9 display
  • Octa Core Snapdragon 660 14nm Mobile Platform (Quad 2.2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs) with Adreno 512 GPU
  • 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, expandable memory with microSD
  • Android 8.1 (Oreo)
  • Dual SIM (nano + nano)
  • Triple rear cameras with 13MP primary rear camera
  • Fingerprint sensor, Face unlock
  • 3.5mm audio jack, NXP Smart Amp
  • Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS

The company is also expected to introduce Snapdragon 636-powered  Zenfone Max M2 with a similar 6-inch FHD+ screen and dual rear cameras, alongside the Max Pro M2. We should know more details in the coming days.
