If you follow technology, you must have definitely heard of CE China a.k.a Consumer Electronics China that happens every year.For the uninitiated, CE China is a premier trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances products for the Chinese and Pan-Asian market.This time, the third edition of CE China, a global event, successfully Shenzhen,from May 3-5.
In this year’s CE China event,146 companies from 12 countries presented their brands, showcasing consumer electronics and home appliances products.
Furthermore, 25 prominent speakers from countries shared their market knowledge with retailers, trade visitors and prosumers. At this event, I got to see and experience some of the coolest home appliances and executives from leading Chinese brands. The companies like Midea and Huawei provided us the insights in cutting edge technologies and most recent trends.
Chinese brand Haier displayed the one-stop smart home solutions under Haier U+ Smart Life” in an attempt to make a better life for consumers.It is designed in a way to connect an entire household be it smart living room, smart kitchen, smart bathroom and smart bedroom into one system. The company explained its Smart Home Architecture, covering air, water as well as kitchen appliances. In addition to it the company also showcased several door lock models with Fingerprints sensor under the U-home product line for quick access and secure protection.The company has implemented the solutions across 10 categories that cover important appliances in our day-to-day usage. These appliances have been designed on Haier’s upgraded 3D cloud design platforms.
Guangdong-based Midea showcased its latest products and also provided more details in cutting-edge technologies, most recent trends and other insights as part of the IFA Retail University.
European brands like Fakir also showcased some products under consumer electronics as well as home appliances. To be specific, the German manufacturer of household appliances presented the new Air Wave Technology that contains the combination of HEPA and ULPA filters, which is an allergy sufferer friendly.In addition to that, the company also showcased a cyclone technology model with a new LED alert system which indicates the condition of the filter.
Bosch on the other hand, embraced this opportunity and showcased a variety of home appliances including a refrigerator.The refrigerator comes with a Vita Fresh Pro technology that helps the eatable to remain fresh.It also has an air filter, transparent interior design, remote control and other features.
Apart from product showcasing, various expert speakers and analysts also shared interesting thoughts during E-Commerce Export Forum on how to develop the cross-border business by making efficient use of online distribution channels, hosted by Shenzhen E-Commerce Service Center. On our last day in Shenzhen, we got a chance to visit one of the Chinese most leading retailers Suning for an hour.
