Moto G5S Plus

This week Motorola announced Moto G5S and G5S Plus, Acer launched Nitro 5 gaming laptop in India, Samsung announced Android flip phone, Coolpad launched Note 5 Lite C. Let’s take a look at all the launches and announcements that took place this week.

Moto G5S Plus

Motorola announced Moto G5S and G5S Plus. The Moto G5S is the successor of the Moto G5 with the same Snapdragon 430, but this has a slightly larger 5.2-inch 1080p screen and a better 16MP rear camera.
The Moto G5S Plus is the successor of G5 Plus with 13-megapixel dual rear cameras with selective focus mode for portraits, adding blurred background effect, selective black and white coloring, replace background mode and more and an improved 8-megapixel front camera with flash. It has a metal unibody design, fingerprint sensor on the front and a 3000mAh battery with support for Turbo charging.

Acer Nitro 5 keyboard

Acer launched Nitro 5 gaming laptop in India. It is powered by Intel’s 7th generation Core i7 and i5 processors and comes with Nvidia GTX 1050/1050Ti graphics card coupled with 4GB DDR5 RAM and 16GB RAM. The Acer Nitro 5 will be available on FlipKart and Acer Stores for customer to buy starting from Rs.75,990.

Samsung SM-G9298

Samsung announced Flagship 8 (SM-G9298) premium Android Flip phone in China. It has dual 4.2-inch 1080p Super AMOLED displays, so that you can use the phone even when it’s closed,  has a 12-megapixel rear camera and a fingerprint sensor on the back. It has a 3D glass and metal design, comes with a Multi-function hotkey in the keyboard and comes with wireless charging.

Coolpad Note 5 Lite C

Coolpad launched Note 5 Lite C, the company’s latest budget smartphone for the offline market.  It has a 5-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by a Quad-Core Snapdragon 210 Mobile Platform and runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat) with Cool UI on top. The Coolpad Note 5 Lite C comes in grey and gold colors, is priced at Rs. 7777 and will be available from August 5.

Kult Beyond

Kult launched Beyond budget smartphone that packs a 5.2-inch HD on-cell display and has a 13-megapixel front and rear cameras with LED flash. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 SoC and runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat). The Kult Beyond comes in black color, is priced at Rs. 6,999 and will be available exclusively from Amazon.in starting August 18th.

Karbonn Aura Note Play

Karbonn launched Aura Note Play, a new smartphone in the ‘Aura Note’ series. It has a 6-inch HD display, is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-Core processor and runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It also has a fingerprint sensor on the back. The Karbonn Aura Note Play comes in Black and Champagne colors and is priced at Rs. 7590.

Jabra Elite Sport

Jabra launched Elite Sport waterproof wireless earbuds with personalized fitness tracking with in-ear heart rate monitor that promises 90%+ accuracy and an integrated app that offers automatic fitness testing (VO2 Max measurement), race-time predictor and recovery advisor. The Jabra Sport Life app offers real-time in-ear coaching for an uninterrupted workout. The Jabra Elite Sport is priced at Rs. 18,990 and will be available from August 8th, 2017 across India.

 Infinix Hot 4 Pro

 

Infinix forayed into India with the Hot 4 Pro and Note 4 smartphones in the country. The Hot 4 Pro has a 5.5-inch HD screen, is powered by Quad-Core MediaTek MT6737 SoC and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). The Note 4 has a 5.7-inch 1080p display, is powered by an Octa-Core MT6753 SoC and runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat).

The Infinix Hot 4 Pro comes in Bordeaux Red, Quartz Black and Magic Gold colors, is priced at Rs. 7499 and will be available exclusively from Flipkart from August 3, midnight. The Note 4 comes in Ice Blue, Champagne Gold and Milan Black colors, is priced at Rs. 8999 and will be available exclusively from Flipkart from August 3, 12 noon.

 Turbo+ 4G

Intex launched Turbo+ 4G phone and it packs a 2.4-inch (320 x 240 pixels)display, dual-core processor, 512 MB RAM, 4GB internal storage, expandable memory up to 32GB with microSD, KaiOS, 2MP rear camera and VGA front Camera. It will be available from Diwali.

Micromax Selfie 2

Micromax launched Selife 2, the company’s latest selfie-focused smartphone in the country. It has a 5.5-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by a quad-core MediaTek Mt6737 processor, runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat), has a 13-megapixel rear camera with flash and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera with flash for capturing selfie even in low-lighting conditions. It comes in Black color, is priced at Rs. 9999 and is available from stores across India.

SoundBot SB565

SoundBot launched SoundBot SB565 water-resistant Bluetooth headset in India. It uses Bluetooth 4.0, has built-in music and volume controls. It comes with built-in mic. The SoundBot SB565 comes in Black color, is priced at Rs. 1990 and will be available from Amazon.in soon.
