Gionee India has sent out invites for the launch of a new smartphone with selfie flash in India on August 22nd. The invite just reads “The Director’s Cut” along with the date. Gionee recently introduced M6 and M6 Plus smartphones in the Marathon series with huge batteries, but neither of them have selfie flash.
Gionee could launch the S6s smartphone at the event since this comes with a flash on the front. This is the upgraded version of the S6 that was launched earlier this year.
