Xiaomi today introduced its Mi VR Play Virtual Reality headset in China. It has a zipper design, uses Lycra fabric (nylon + spandex) and can fit phones from 4.7 to 5.7 inches in size.

LG has sent out invites for the V20 announcement in San Francisco on September 6th. It will run Android 7.0 (Nougat), making it one of the first phones from OEMs to run the latest version of Android.

LeEco has launched its Super3 X55Super3 X65 and Super3 Max65 in India. All these have 4K UHD resolution, comes with Dolby Audio and DTS, have slim design and run EUI 5.5 TV based on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). These are priced at Rs. 59,790, Rs. 99,790 and Rs. 1,49,790, respectively.

Samsung’s mobile communications president has said that the company is looking forward to bring Iris scanning technology to mid-end models in future.
