HTC’s Mass Market Smart phone based on the BREW platform – HTC Smart is now available at HTC dealers across the country and it marks the handset makers entry into a new territory – the sub 10K price band.
The Smart features the same HTC Sense UI found on high-end HTC smartphones which features Weather updates , Social Networking and quick access to contacts.
The Smart is powered by Qualcomm’s BREW platform and Airtel users get free usage with the phone. Also HTC has a new m-Bollywood offering in which Smart users can download Bollywood content ranging from gossip , news to short video clips for free right from the phone. Long Video clips and other exclusive content will be charged.
Other features include a 3.2 MP Camera , FM radio, 3G , Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack and microSD memory card slot.
