A Preview or more like a teaser of the soon-to-be-launched Nokia N8-00 is already up. Mobile Review from Russia has managed to rise to the occasion once again. Finally Nokia has a 12 Megapixel Camera phone with a Xenon Flash !

Eldar says that the Build quality and Size of the phone is good. It’s the first Symbian^3 phone from Nokia and the UI looks pretty much like S60 5th Edition .
We expected this as Symbian foundation told us that you can expect a new UI only in Symbian^4
This is the homescreen of the N8 and as you can see the homescreen supports 3 pages of widgets
12 MP Camera with HD Video Recording
A 12 Megapixel Camera with Xenon Flash sits on the rear.This is the most welcome feature from Nokia and these folks felt that the Camera quality is better than Sony Satio which was the first 12 MP Phone in the market. Sadly there is no lends cover although the Cam has Carl Zeiss optics.
The phone records video in 720p HD and features Video Stabilization in case you take shaky videos .
One surprise in the Nokia N8 is the mini-HDMI port which you can use to connect the phone to a Large Screen via HDMI.
An we are now hearing that the phone might be officially announced tomorrow that is Tuesday !
Mobile-Reviews folks are not too happy with the phone. In short , they are calling it old wine in a new bottle with minor upgrades. But we feel Nokia lacked a real multimedia device in it’s portfolio and the N8 might do justice to the company.
If this is going to be a N82 successor on Steroids , then we would certainly love to try the N8 !
