Users will have their own periscope.tv/username URL, where all their recent broadcasts can easily be found. Web profiles gives users a platform to promote their streams, as they can just broadcast their profile to the audience and get more followers. The update is especially useful for popular broadcaster as their fans can quickly navigate to their web profile instead of trying to find a link to the video feed.

“We think it’s really important for broadcasters to have a home on the web, and today’s launch is just the beginning.” said Periscope in a medium post.

Periscope has been constantly updating its mobile apps with new features and last week it added much needed landscape support. The popular streaming service owned by Twitter has more than 10 million registered users. Periscope was launched for iPhone back in March and it arrived for Android in May. It was recently reported that Periscope is working on an app for the Apple TV.
