ZTE Axon Elite with 5.5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 810 announced for global markets

ZTE introduced Axon Pro smartphone with 5.5-inch Quad HD screen in the U.S back in July and it introduced the Axon smartphone with a 5.5-inch 1080p screen in China later. At the IFA, the company has introduced the Axon smartphone as Axon Elite for global markets. It has Eyeprint ID, a password-free eye-based biometric unlocking solution that captures unique vein patterns in the human eye using the smartphone’s front facing camera, fingerprint sensor and voice control. It also has dual rear cameras for quick auto focus and depth sensing.

The ZTE Axon Elite comes in Ion Gold color and is priced at 419.99 Euros, US $469.99 or 299.99 GBP depending on the market. It will be available through eBay in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom on 24 September. It will be available on the open market in Germany for the first time offline starting from the end of September in partnership with MediaMarkt, and will continue roll out in Spain, France, Turkey, Mexico, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Russia and the Philippines.
