Gionee launched Marathon M4 smartphone in India earlier this month for Rs. 15,499. We have already seen the unboxing of the phone and now let’s take a detailed look at the phone in this photo gallery.
The Gionee Marathon M4 has 5-inch (1280 × 720 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor with Mali-T720 GPU. Running Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Amigo UI 3.0 on top, the phone has a 2GB RAM, 16GB Internal memory, expandable memory up to 32GB with micro SD.
At the front, the phone has a 5MP front-facing camera along with earpiece.
There are three capacitive touch buttons below the display.
The power/lock switch and volume rockers are present on the right side of the phone. It measures 144.7×71.2×10.18mm and weighs 176g.
Situated at the bottom is the micro USB port and primary microphone.
There is a 3.5mm audio jack at the top.
There is a 8MP Auto Focus Camera with LED flash at the back. Gionee branding is also present below the LED flash.
The phone has a massive 5,000mAh battery that offers up to 440h standby and up to 50h talk time. It is not removable.
Also present underneath the back cover are two micro SIM card slots and a micro SD card slot. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G LTE / 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB OTG.
