IFTTT updates Do apps, unveils two step verification and battery channel


IFTTT has updated its Do apps with a number of features. The latest update brings improvements to Do Button, Do Camera and Do Note that were launched in February this year.

With the latest update, the Do Button now lets you create actionable buttons with pre-programmed actions. Now the app lets you create unlimited Recipes which was earlier restricted to only three. Other improvements are the inclusion of Recipe names in the widget and floating DO buttons. Next up is the Do Camera which now adds the ability to quickly preview and edit images before sending them off. You can add text, draw, write and place emojis in any photo or apply filters with a couple of taps along. Finally Do Note app is getting widget support.

IFTTT is also adding two step verification that protects your IFTTT account and mobile apps with both your password and your phone. The IFTTT Android apps is also getting battery channel so it will let you turn off WiFi, Bluetooth when battery is low, have the app mute your phone as soon as you plug it in and others.
