Users can also prerecord a handful of messages, called Qik Flicks, to send later. Unlike some mobile video apps, the videos are meant to be self-contained; Skype says Qik video messages can only be viewed from within the app and are not saved to the smartphone’s camera roll. The service stores videos for only two weeks and they can be deleted even if it’s already been viewed. You can also block contacts on Android and Windows Phone, a feature that will be available on iPhone in the coming months. The app is available in 21 languages.

You can download the Skype Qik app on Google Play Store, Apple App Store and Windows Phone Store.
