The Toshiba Glass sports a lightweight projector clipped onto one of the arms near the lens. This lens consists of a ton of tiny little prisms that reflect the image from the projector into the eye of the viewer. This is one of the main difference between the Toshiba and Google Glass as the latter consists an over the lens prism.

Toshiba says the glasses weigh 42 grams which makes it lighter than the Google Glass as it has no battery and charges only via cable. The company is expected to launch the Toshiba Glass by 2015 in Japan and North America and it will be available in three different designs including standard, sporty and industrial.
