After getting in touch with mobile retailers FoneArena figured out that the Nokia 5233 is a 2G version of the 5230
Nokia 5233 Specifications
The 5233 has the same specs as the 5230 except for the 3G transceiver. Looks like the 5230 had some issues and Nokia got out the 5233.

Nokia 5233 Price
The 5230 was launched for Rs.9000 and then fell to around Rs.8500. The 5233 costs only Rs.780o which is an amazing deal for a Symbian phone.
Some retailers are suggesting Nokia intends to replace the 5230 with the 5233 and some dealers that the 5230 has already been stopped and only 5233 is available.
There is no official word on this one so far
