Rumors about the launch date and specifications of the iPhone 6 have been surfacing the internet frequently. One of the latest rumors says that the iPhone 6 will after all launch in September.
A report from China media claims that the Apple’s upcoming iPhone 6 will be introduced at a media event on September 19th, while the device will launch on September 25th in the US and other key international markets. China will also be amongst the first countries to receive the iPhone. According to Macrumors, it is expected to be announced first or second week of September.
According to inside sources of few Chinese media, the price of iPhone 6 would be equal to the launch-price of iPhone 5S. Apple is expected to release a 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone 6; however, it is unclear if both devices will launch simultaneously. The source further claims that the larger iPhone 6 16GB model will be called the “iPhone Air”, and will cost 5,998 Yuan (Rs. 57,760 approx), while the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 model will reportedly go on sale in China at Rs. 52,922 for 32GB.
The latest news from the Chinese media report might be just another rumor. There is no word from Apple regarding the same. Hope Apple would announce the launch event soon.
