Samsung announced the Galaxy S3 mini, back in October 2012. The Galaxy S3 mini did not launch in India through, but the company has launched a variant of the smartphone, the Galaxy S3 mini Value edition in Netherlands and Italy. Only the processor has been upgraded, and the phone runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) out of the box. Other features are similar, including a 4.0-inch (480×800 pixels ) Super AMOLED display, 5 Megapixel Auto Focus Camera with LED Flash, 720p video recording and a VGA front-facing camera.
