Karbonn is the official mobile phone partner for Rajinikanth’s upcoming Kochadaiiyaan movie. Karbonn Kochadaiiyaan feature phones and smartphones are now available for pre-order on Flipkart. Earlier this month Karbonn Mobile said it would launch 1 million Kochadaiiyaan branded mobile phones.
These Karbonn Kochadaiiyaan phones will have screen savers, images from the film, trailer and the signature tune. These phone would also have Kochadaiiyaan branding on the back. The Kochadaiiyaan lineup includes, Karbonn Kochadaiiyaan The Legend 2.4, 2.8 and K77 feature phones, Karbonn Kochadaiiyaan The Legend A6 Plus, A36 and S5i smartphones.
All these phones have dual SIM support. The Kochadaiiyaan branded S5i is a variant of the Karbonn Titanium S5i that went on sale last month. It is priced at Rs. 8,199. The Karbonn Kochadaiiyaan The Legend 2.4, 2.8 and K77 feature phones are priced at Rs. 1,890, Rs. 1,990 and Rs. 2,599 respectively.
The Karbonn Kochadaiiyaan The Legend A6 Plus is a variant of the Karbonn A6 with a 4-inch WVGA screen, Android 4.0 and 1 GHz processor. It is priced at Rs. 4990. The Karbonn Kochadaiiyaan The Legend A36 has a 5-inch qHD screen, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.0 ICS. It is priced at Rs. 6199.
The Karbonn Kochadaiiyaan phones would go on sale starting March 1st across India, just in time for the audio launch. The movie hits the screens on April 11th.
