The retailer mentions that it is a GPS enabled tracking tag that will let you track your belongings using your smartphone. It is believed that it will be possible to track the location of the tag using both a smartphone app and a website. Considering the competition in this space employs NFC and Bluetooth, operate only at close range we are quite curious to see the presence of GPS in the tag. The HTC Fetch priced at £24.99 could prove to be quite a successful product by combining a low price, small size and a fair amount of functionality. We’d definitely pick up a few to attach to luggage and keys.
