Bing Translator app now available for Windows Phone 8, gets new translator camera lens


Microsoft has updated the Bing Translator app to version 2.5 that brings support Windows Phone 8 devices. This brings new translator camera lens for Windows Phone 8 devices that lets to access the camera mode translation functionality in the translator app quickly when you launch the camera.

The Bing Translator app was first released earlier this year, and lets you use the camera lens to translate printed text, use voice recognition to translate spoken text, or enter the words using the keyboard to translate. It supports translation from Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish to more than 30 languages. It also has word-of-the-day live tiles, travel optimized offline mode and more features.
