Developer manages to run iOS apps on BlackBerry PlayBook

A developer has managed to run iOS apps running on the BlackBerry PlayBook via an iOS player. The developer called businesscat2000 has posted several videos on the CrackBerry forums after which they tested him to prove the videos are real. RIM brought support to run Java and Android apps via App players last year and is prepping for the next BlackBerry 10 OS launch that would also be available for the PlayBook which would bring new features.

It supports builds for universal binary or armv6 with 480×320 resolution and works best with apps like games. The developer is also willing to test apps from other iOS developers to make it run on the PlayBook.

Here are some videos of the iOS apps running on BlackBerry PlayBook
