LG Spectrum with LTE and True HD display coming to Verzion on January 19 for $199.99


LG has announced Spectrum, a new Android phone with LTE support for Verzion. It comes with 4.5-inch True HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS 500-nit display with 329 PPI and Real-Stripe RGB pixels offer users clear viewing in direct sunlight and accurate true-to-life color rendering and is also scratch-resistant since it has Gorilla Glass. It is powered by 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread (updgradable to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich). It has 8MP camera with LED flash with 1080p video recording and 1.3MP secondary camera.

Other features include, LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v3.0, 16 GB eMMC with support for up to 32 GB microSD card, Smart Share, HDMI mirroring via MHL. It comes with ESPN’s ScoreCenter app that offers 720p high-definition sports feed over LTE or Wi-Fi.

The LG Spectrum would be available on January 19 in Verizon Wireless Communications Stores and online for $199.99 with a new two-year customer agreement.
