Samsung Illusion for Verizon leaked specs emerge


The detailed specs of Samsung Illusion has leaked out from the Verizon Infocenter and the guys from the androidcentral has got hold of the specs page. This is expected to be entry-level handset that looks like Nexus S with the capacitive touch buttons, rounded edges and a textured back, but comes with a SD card slot and Samsung TouchWiz UI. The image of the phone emerged couple of months back on Flickr.

According to the spec sheet, it would come with a 3.5-inch (480×320 pixels), 1GHz Hummingbird Single Core processor, 512MB of RAM, 2GB internal memory that is expandable up to 32GB with MicroSD and a 3MP camera. It would run on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and would feature a 1500 mAh battery. It would definitely be a 3G phone and would connectivity options like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Looking at these specs it looks like a entery-level Android phone.

The phone was expected to be available in September but now it is said to be available from Verizon within this month for less than US$100 under contract.
