Kingmax Launches World’s First 64GB microSD Card

The microSDXC specification announced two years ago at CES is finally seeing its first hardware launch. Kingmax , a small memory card manufacturer has announced the launch of the world’s first 64GB microSD card. The card meets SD 3.0 specifications and includes Error Correction Code which fixes any errors that creep in during data transfers.

Pricing details and retail availability remain unknown at the moment but if priced right , the product is poised to be a  hit. How many of you feel the space constraint on your phone ? Would you be interested in such a product ? Let us know in the comments below !

    Thanks for the detailed explanation. This post cleared up a my questions. The thing is that you want all files stored on a memory card? say whether the matter in the phone and take it out that’s fine, but what if I had to reformat the memory card? Why not upload photos and other important things to your computer when not needed on your phone? The loss of 4 GB of data is better than 64 GB.
