Paytm in-app messaging service Inbox has gained a bunch of new features; this update will bring access to content across categories such as Live TV, News, Cricket, Entertainment Videos, and Games on the go, for free. Paytm says that following the positive response on beta testing, it is now rolling out the full-stack service under Paytm Inbox on its app.
The company has partnered with several content providers to ensure the best of infotainment is delivered to users directly in their Paytm Inbox. It now offers News, TV, access to games, and videos as well. Paytm now offers TV from various sources like Aaj Tak, India Today, Mirror Now, Zoom, ET Now.
It also offers games in Action, Sports, Adventure, and strategy genres. The company claims to have more than 120 Mn monthly active users and expects strong growth after the addition of these new features. The update is going live for iOS users this week, Android users will get the update in the coming week.
Commenting on the development, Deepak Abbot, senior vice-president, Paytm said:
